i have a 84 gs and both the ignition and door lock light up when you pull the handle. i normal light from the ignition and the door lock glows green, as far as i know its stock that way. couldnt take a pic cause my camera sucks.

 

I had a '85 GSL-SE that still had a working door lock light in it. It was actually a pretty neat feature to have a on a dark night with a black car.

 

checked my car today and the door lock itself has the clear port to it, but when i replaced it i don't remember having to deal with any lightbulbs so i guess it's missing that whole harness or something idk.

 

My dad's car dose that, one in the seg and it's a gs.
