VA ignitors

i need a lil more go in my 84 gsl bone stock ps,air pump still hooked up,stock evrything. i thought ive seen on a couple of posts that u could put 2nd gen ignitors on a 1st gen and get a lil more "fire" is this true and is it worth it? oh yeah did a search couldnt find anything.i would b thankful for any ideas on simple modslike this.

It is the 2nd gen coil upgrade but it is not going to add HP.

I believe the mod is worth it for better spark and mileage.

And of course there are billions of FC's in scrap yards. FB ignitors are getting hard to find.

Of course more complete combustion is desirable for more than just mileage... It'll reduce carbon buildup and reduce unburned fuel that gets into the oil resulting in longer life of everything...

It'll also result in cleaner emissions if he's gotta deal with that. Even if he doesn't, no point in trashing the planet if you can help it...
