If I have a electronic distributor do i get the MSD Blaster 2 coils for electronic ignition or points style ignition?????

 

blaster coils can be used for points or elctronic type distributors

 

Yes they can 680, but one kinda comes with a ballast resistor that is for use on the points ignitions, so why pay the extra money for the ballast resistor when you dont even need it?

Get the ones for electroinic ignition if you dont have a points dizzy.

Well, you must be buying the wrong ones because the ones I bought didnt come with them. You can buy them either way . Go check SummitRacing.com, or Jegs.com, or anywhere else .

i go to PAW .... its a warehouse nearby,,, i guess ive been getting the wrong ones...... they charge me the same for both

 

i just looked in the catalog.... there is only one part # for blaster coils??? thatsa weird,,,o well

 

TJ is correct. I get the ones for electronic ign. It does not come with a ballast resistor.
