ignition switch won't stay on

Ok so it seems as if the Mound knows that I just replaced the fuel filter and ordered a new RB exhaust for it. Cause just tonight I got in and went to start it. It will start fine but there is a problem with the switch. When I release it, it will not stay in the ON position, so the car immediately dies. It just won't lock on and stay there.

I should have seen the warning signs, as of late it had been sticking far forward on startup and the BRAKE light would stay on.

So the switch is toast? How do I go about replacing/rekeying one?

Right on.

it might just be sticky? try spraying some oil in it, like WD40 with that little fine sprayer to get right into the key hole.
