hi guys,i have a 1981 12a rx7 that for the last 2 months has given me some starting problems.i'll describe what i mean.i try to start my car but all i get is the dash cluster to light up.i know its not a bad fuel pump because i can hear it every time i start the car.i try and try but the car wont start.eventually i'll wait and then the car starts after a long wait.can anybody confirm what a bad ignition switch symptom is??
or any tests i can perform.i was going to replace both the switch with key and the electrical part of the switch but it will cost me over 100 dollars.please help.thanks

MY CAR HAS A STARTER KILL CAN THIS BE CAUSING A PROBLEM?????
