ignition issue

for the last two days when ever I put the key in the ignition and crank it over it has felt really stuck, this just happend randomly. The condition is getting worse and I don't think my ignition will last much longer, what can I do to fix it ?

is it posible to take the peice out of the steering rack and replace it with another cars ?

Squirt som graphite dry lube in there and work the key, see if that helps. If not, you can replace the ing switch.
