Igniter Question

i was just out working on my 82 GSL and was running a spark test and i'm not getting any spark on either plug on the leading side. so, i need to test my leading ignitor and i can't remember which igniter is the leading igniter. after testing the igniter, i'm going to test the leading coil. i do however know which coil is the leading coil. any help would be most appreciated! i did search my 83 and 84 FSM and it didn't clarify the leading ignitor's position on the distributor.

Leading ignitor is the one closest to the radiator.

thanks! also, are there any oher methods of testing the ignitor, other than doing as the FSM suggests, by using a light? perhaps a better method or does that method seem to be pretty accurate?

Here's how I did it...just a fancy way of implementing the factory service manual's method:

you can always hold the plug by the ceramic with some pliers and put it close to some ground and see the spark. I'm sure nobody likes that idea but it'll do.
