Ign. Swap FAIL

Hi guys, I finally got the electronic ign. goodies for my SA and swapped them out, however... the how-to I found for replacing the points ignition left me without spark. I managed to connect the 'stock' positive leading and negatives back up and that's OK, however, I can't figure out why my trailing isn't firing.

Links or pictures, or WHATEVER would be helpful.
Thanks.

The trailing ignition only works part time on the 79s. Did you eliminate or bypass all of the older ignition?

That would be correct. Coils, Distributor and spark plug type for an 83.

Did you connect the tach sending wire back to the trailing coil, remove/bypass the 79 resistors and use J-109 ignitors? If all that's good, check the rotor and cap. It's easy to bump and misalign the cap, which chews up the contacts in the dizzy cap.

I found a better write-up that had more sensical direcitons on what went where... It seems that the write-up writers don't use their condensors! (Yellow wire...)
