If you took anything from a SE...

I have my 84 GSL, and an 85GSL-SE parts car.

Other than the glass roof, and the brakes/suspension, what else would be an upgrade from that car? (those are already swapped over)

Is the steering box any different? (I think its a faster ratio) - not sure if My SE has PS...
Master Cyl?
Brake Bias?
Steering links?
Rear Driven gear? (I already sold the SE LSD, kept the Gear though)
fuse box?
Gas Tank? (baffled, right?)

I've been reading the forums, but I'm just not really sure what all would be worth the work to swap over...

What would you guys swap over?

Thanks

I would just look over your 84 and see what parts you might need.
Because soon as you toss it out you will need.

Seriously, though. If you take the suspension, take the spare. You don't want to be on the side of the road when it hits you why.

I never thought of that.

Crit, that is too funny, I had to make a second trip to the junkyard, it didnt hit me till I had the suspension on and saw my tire as I was putting my jack back in the car

As for the swap, if you got the Beehive cooler, might look into the front mount, its not necessary and a matter of opinion, but.. if so, you will need the SE coolant line.

The seats are better... double adjust and they hug you more comfortably.

I believe the steering box is the same, the quicker ratio is found in the power steering gearbox.

take the gas tank, it is baffled if you plan to go to FI later. Also take the fuel hardlines. I know for sure that the supply line is bigger, not sure about the return but I needed both of those pieces while doing a turbo swap.

Take the door panels, power window regulators, power mirrors (worth good money on ebay, or keep as spare). take the **** that cranks the sunroof up and down. Stereo and Stereo Surround. Tail Lights if good. Take the oil cooler (good upgrade or worth good $$$).... Take the motor, injectors.....
