ive noticed - with my own experience and from posts on this forum, that if you let a 7 sit for a while, they are really hard to start. mine was sat for only a few days and i had to crank it like 5 times to get it to start. what causes this problem with rotary engines?

only problem with mine when i let it sit for like more than a week is a little bit of blue smoke when i fire her up...
i'm guessing the problem is a lack of oil on the sides of the rotor housing so that compression isn't enuf during the first few cranks? this is only my guess, so i'm prolly wrong
