Idler arm, extra ring, where does it go?

Idler arm, extra ring, where does it go?
I'm installing the idler arm, but have noticed there is a keychain-ring type piece, and i'm not sure where it goes

The only place i can figure is around the rubber boot connecting tot he center link, to hold it on. Can i get a second on that before i finally bolt it in??

NP, thats whwere i put it, so its all good!

Works like a charm... i guess (i cant tell any dif, but it dont rattle no mo!)
