Idle Screw Cover???

My idle is a little over 1000rpm, and I was gonna turn it back down to around 750. I looked at the pics in the FSM, and found where the screw is, but there's a round aluminum cap over it, and I cant get it off. It wiggle back and forth, but the thing wont come off. I tried with my fingers and with a pair of needle nose pliers. Is this thing stock or did someone put it on? How do I get it off?

Thanks.

sir, you are messing with the mixture adjust screw. do not mess with that. look to the rear of the accelerator pump for a phillips headed idle adjust screw. turning the screw clockwise will raise the idle and counterclockwise will lower the idle. if you need a pic, let me know.

Yeah your right, I fell like a fool, I took a second look at the FSM and that wasn't it at all. Sorry for wasting your guys time hehe. I found the screw, and back it off down to roughly 750 rpm purrs like a kitten, and sounds throatier.

Thanks for the help anyways!
