pretty new to the forums, not sure if im being retarded by posting this here or not but anyway, a friend of mine just bought an FB for 400 bucks with a straight body and minimal surface rust. and its got its fair share of problems...

first, the car idles at 1600 rpm ALL the time, warming up or not, the choke seams to be working fine. dont hear any vaccuum leaks (altho it is har to hear ANYTHING over the massive exhaust manifold leaks) anyway, im lookign for a vacuum diagram for the 12a for the mean time while i look for a FSM

another thing, the car seams to hesitate alot, id imagine it being a vacuum problem, but im not real sure, not real familiar with carbs.

car has 168k miles on it and im looking for any advice you guys can give me, planning to do a full restoration and eventually a track car, but for now just trying to get it running decent.
