Talking Ideas anyone

so i have been chating with some of you for a few months and now im asking for mod ideas. i have a 1981 fb gsl with a really clean engine 100k miles (rolled it over myself that was cool) i just recently put on a rb sp exhaust i went street port just incase i decide to port it in the future, i also am in the proccess of installing an oer sidedraft carb, removing the rats nest and putting on eibach lowering springs. so other than porting the engine what should i do next any random ideas? thanks

Ignition! If you have lots of money, you can spend it on a MSD setup. If you want to save that money for something else, and possibly have just as good a setup, then check out the Transister Trick thread (cost around $50.00).

Awesome results with mine, and in my opinion it was by far the best dollar to gains mod that I've done yet. There is lots of power to be found in your ignition system, especially now that you have the exhaust that makes all other mods worthwhile.

Yeah the 2GCDFIS ignition mod really brought my setup together. I have a pretty sweet setup, and modifying the ignition made everthing else worthwhile. Better top end, less popping, better gas mileage.

And if you havent already CHANGE YOUR FUEL FILTER!!! I finally got around to mine, I normally change it every six months. I left this one under the car for a year, brought my car back to life again. If you havent done so yet, odds are the last owner didnt do it either, so you could quite possibly have the original filter on the car.
