IDA mani for street 13B

I asked this in the Rotary Performance section but didn't get a lot of replys so here it goes. I would like to get some feed back about running these on street cars.
Do the IDA's rather short runners kill the low end performace, I am assuming it will since I will have to get rid of my 5th/6th ports (this is a second gen).

Thanks

I've been running a 48IDA on my 13b street port with secondaries open. It's not a torquey engine by any means, but you can adjust the power band alot with jetting. On the setup I have above about 2000rpm is strong, above 5000 the thing really takes off. I'm not sure what it would feel like in a heavier 2nd gen, though.
