85 GSL-SE Air Flow Meter

I think my AFM is bad. When I do the E2 -> Vs test, the ohms jump around all
over the place, sort of like this:

Fully Closed: 90 ohms
Slightly open: 400 ohms
A little more open: 250 ohms
The rest of the swing: 450 ohms
Fully open: 250 ohms

Now I googled for this already and saw a post that stated the resistor does
not have to be linear. Ok, however I would think that the ohms must atleast
increase as the gate opens, right?

Thanks,
Ben

Update:
I decided to test it "live":

At idle I have 3.5 vdc. Increasing to 4k rpm, the volts smoothly increase to 8vdc. I didn't rev it any higher than that. From those readings I would say the AFM is ok. What do you think?
