i am planning on putting a ida throttle body injected system with no intake hoses or maf on my 85 gsl-se. i need to know what to do about the maf...will the car run without it or what i will need to do

You need an ECU capable of running tps based load sensing. That means going aftermarket like Microtech, Haltech etc.
