i went to the junk yard today.

i found a pair of brand spanking new black seats.
65 dollars..
also found the matching door panels.
20 dollars.

they were so new that my brother saw them after i installed them,and thought that i had new upholstery done,, NO bull...

congrats..

if only the first gen was as common here in aus..

but everytime a rexy is ready for wrecking all u see is BARE METAL..

or within 5 mins its like a pack of hyenas have stripped it dry..

damn straight aye timmya, i saw rx parts advertised lately, didnt say what sorts just "too many to mention" itd be great to go have a look but i lierally have no money after buying the car and a few little extra things i added

I WENT BACK TO THE JUNK YARD AND FOUND A NEWLY PUT RX7 ON THE LOT.IT WAS A 1985 RX7 WITH THE DIFFERENT STYLE SEATS.THE ONES WITH THE REMOVABLE HEAD REST.THEY WERE IN CHERRY CONDITION.BROWN...............

Speaking of junkyard stories, I juts went to a local yard and found a car with a RB header with some sort of custom exhaust welded on and scored it for $30! The car also had 3 Tokico adjustable shocks/struts on it (4th was replaced by a stock unit) He wanted $60 for all 3 (2 struts 1 shock)! Bets $100 I ever took out of the bank

well, since most ATMs will only let you take money out in $20 increments... He wouldn't be off base saying it's the best $100 he took out of the bank. Plus there's always the off-chance he had to pay sales tax
