Very, very cool! Where'd you get all that stuff?? I'm looking at putting a turbo on mine, and I haven't been able to find actual 12AT stuff on EBay or anywhere else (mainly aftermarket stuff, which I don't want). Also, you'll definitely have to get pics of the buildup!

I have the 2nd gen turbo exhaust and 1st gen turbo exhaust. The first gen one I am going to put on my '83. *insert evil laughter* The 2nd gen on would fit if you grind the bolt holes just a tad. As for the turbos, I'm going to look into see if the 2nd gen turbo will fit on the 1st gen turbo exhaust.

I dont have a 12at turbo engine. Those are a litte harder to come across. So, in the absence of it I will use a normal 12a.

I have a habit of aquiring things all the time. It sort of falls into my lap. I can't complain. The parts come from friends, junkyards, ebay, thepartstrader, and ect...

Ah, thats ok. Im not ready for it all anyway, I just thought Id call dibs if you had it, then I could just stock pile the stuff . Oh well, Im still working on the intake side...Im awaitng my "speacial parts" from a "special source" .

Oh yeah, and could I use a CAS from say a 13B for ignition on a 12A? Would there be any advantages to this? Does the CAS retard the ignition on a 13BT or is that a seperate computer? So for instance, could I use a CAS from a 13BT to retard the timing on a custom 12AT?

Ok error its official......... I hate you! j/k nice stuff!

 

CAS has no adv or ret. Its just a sensor (actually 2) mounted in a dizzy housing. Kinda like a crank angle sensor but in a dizzy. Search the mazspeed forum for CAS and youll see. I had a looney idea about using one I bought off ebay, but never did get anywhere with it. But Midget took the ball and ran with it and might have something working soon.

Well, I normally don't do this, but I just wanted to share with my fellow RX-7 lovers what I have in my garage. I have more, but I'm too lazy to take more pics.
