I want your HELP rx7 CLUB!

hey i am going crazy over deciding this and i would like all of your opinions,
im looking at a 4 port 13b built by mazda trix has 60-65 psi front rotor 85-90 rear rotor, is bridgeported, comes with 58mm IDA with RB intake, moroso oil pan, RB ignition wires, alternator, dual pully, MSD blaster coils x2, Light weight FW, 4puck clutch, transmission, short shift kit, custom header, 3mm apex seals, GSLSE rotors, basicaly the only thing its missing is the MSD ignition control
he's asking 2,000.00 think it is worth it? burns oil after WOT but so does my 12a
and it has low compression on front rotor but its not dead.

do you have an extra $1000 to spare on top of the $2000 in case it needs an immediate rebuild?

You know that sense of anticipation that a cook who hates his boss gets when said boss is about to shovel a mouthfull of food cooked by said cook down his gullet--- the meal prepared with the cook's own recipe of ****, **** and snot?

Well, that's exactly the feeling of anticipation this seller is feeling right this minute--- and you're his potential bitch.

Might as well be a fully worthless engine. Don't do it. You can get a nice clean running example of an FB for that amount.

Agreeing with DF... The condition of the engine makes it less than ideal. You could pickup a nice example for $2k. **** I just watched a GSL-SE go on ebay for $1k. Too far from me otherwise I would have picked it up. As it is I'm looking at an 83' that has 40,000 origional miles. The guy wants 6500 the car is beautiful.

Dont do it. Bridgeport + low compression = waste of money. Especially for that amount. MAYBE $1000 knowing it needs a rebuild soon due to the compression and smoking, only because its got a few good parts on it. Thats also assuming you got lucky and could salvage the housings and just reseal it. Bridgeports are, IMO, a "disposable" engine that needs to be rebuilt every few hundred miles or so, just like any other race motor.

did you notice how when that engine was first advertised, he was asking like 3500 for it and didn't mention any compression issues? then he kept dropping his price, and NOW at 2000 is saying that it doesn't even have good compression....the only thing he mentioned at first was that it burned a little oil.

id stay far away from that deal if i were you. but i am no expert
