I want these wheels

Anyone know how rare these wheels are? I think this pic is from a 80 GSL-SE catalog. I think those are the best looking wheels I have ever seen on an RX. Thanks.

It looks like a Japanese Savannah model. The GSL-SE wasn't introduced until 1984.

Aside from the fact that the wheels (they look like covers, not rims) have the shape of the Wankel rotor, I personally think they are fugly!

Just my opinion... ( i know, everyone has one.. yada yada)

Those are cool just because of the shape but as far as style I would rather have steel wheels and hubcab spinners then those on my car...

These rotor wheels were available on 81-83 models in Japan and Europe. "SE-Limited" is not a GSL-SE but a J-spec model.
They are genuine Mazda, btw. But no longer available...
In Europe they are rather common, although most have suffered a bit by now. It's hard to find a set in good condition, but they can be restored. Original ones can be identified from restored nes by the fact that the "lines" from the milling machine is visible on them! Which explains why Mazda didn't use a simular design on the RX-8 (they had plans for that): way to expensive to produce.

Oh and BTW if anyone has an extra center cap laying around and wants off it, PM me. I am missing one. I have seen them with and without the word "MAZDA" in them. I need them WITH it.
