I think I've finally made a wheel choice!

OK... finally think I have it nailed. It's for a Silver SE. Tires will be Kumho 711 in the 205/55/15 size, and the wheel will be this:

Thoughts?

The black spoked, chrome lipped rims always look best! I like those more than all the other ones you had been ooking at. I'd get those in a heart beat if my GSL didn't have a shitty *** pattern size.

too ricey for me, I prefer mesh, panasports or the konigs I and Max 7 have on our cars but all of these are color dependent.

I like them, they should look really good on your car. I, too, love the black spoke/ polished rim look. I just got lucky in that my GS already had a set of wheels similar to those when I bought it.

What Koenig wheels are you referring to... the Rewinds? I looked for those, but never really found them being sold in a 15x7 with the required 38mm offset.

Another factor is that with this much offset, it's important to find a wheel that offers a bit of a lip. The 38mm Panasport style wheels seems to look better on a 4x110 pattern (non-SE) because they don't need the offset.

I thought of these as "updated" vs. being "ricey." There are a lot of choices out there that are ricey, that's for sure!

i have a set of kuhmos on m car matter of fact i think they are the same tire your talking about. hold on lemme check.
*runs to the garage*
*drinks a beer*
*uses the pisser*
*runs back to the garage because he forgot already*

ok ya they are. the tires are awsome. They stand up very well to my constant drifting and autoxing. i've had them for over a year now and they have about 1/3 - 1/2 the tread left. in my exp thats pretty damn good.

Very nice.

Myself, I prefer a silver/chrome rim.
When I first got my seven, it had some NICE Enkei meshers that I sold to a forum member. Now that I no longer have them, I actually don't miss them. Mesh are nice, but a good five spoke is always nicer.

To be honest, I have grown quite attatched to plussers. . . .

The rims look pretty good, but you can do better than 711's. They truely suck. If you're looking at Kumhos, try the MXs. Much more grip.

I was afraid of that... thanks for the warning. My fallback was the Falken Ziex ZE-512...that may be a better choice.

I like em... I llike em a LOT. But I'd wanna research more. I've heard bad **** about some companies, including famous ones like Konig. (Wheels come apart where they're not supposed to.)

What brand/model are the wheels? Also, are they available without the "R" on the spoke? I do not like to advertise my m@d JDM tyTenEsS y0!

rim

The best looking rim on a silver FB non gsl-se pattern is the Kosei K1's

Here is the best looking silver fb I have ever seen!

And look what I found, a set on e-bay right now.
