I Think I Have Alot On My Hands...Help? pwease

at the end of last summer i pulled my motor, which i planned to port and build for my turbo project. the car sat motor-less all through winter, as i collected parts. well now im on a deadline because i want my car to be at rotary revolution. and ive hit a rut.

i have the motor in. intake and carb are on. header is on.(P.S. i decide to go N/A so i can make it to rr). radiator is mounted. fuel pump is mouted and wired.

now my problem is, im not getting any juice to my fuel pump. its a walbro 255lph inline. i know its overkill for the situation, but i have no other pump. i know the pump works, i tested it. i am using the stock clip i just cut the wires and wired my new pump in.

when i first started working on the car, the volt meter guage would turn on when i turned the key, but now it doesnt, and my fuel pump isnt getting power. and only one of my headlights goes up and down(both were functional last year).

does any one have any idea what the problem could be? i think the headlight motor could just be bad, but i am unsure. (i know its not the battery, it turns the motor)

FYI: '84 gsl 12a w/RB one-piece intake, and 48 SK racing carb. rotary engineering header. mallory 4309, and walbro 255lph.

also when i was working with the starter i blew a fusible link, but that has been replaced. but the guage worked before i blew it and now it doesnt.

I suggest you recheck the connections on your new fusible link and check all of the fuses in the under dash fusebox to start with.

check the 2 15 amp fuses towards the bottom of the fuse block, for the interior lights/cig lighter and for the fuel pump.

i put in an aftermarket fuel pump the same way that you did but you have to use a different ground for some reason try that or just wire it to a switch and turn it on by hand works great if they try to steal you car they can barely get out of the parking lot. hehe. try to put it somewhere where they wont see right away if you do what i did.

well, actually before i lost all power, the pump turned on when i turned the key. then i turned it off, then back on, and nothing. then i replaced the fuses, and charged the battery, and no power at all.
