I never got mine, and the way it sounds I may never. Unless I send them 1500 bucks to buy it outright. Even then, there's no telling when it would arrive.

Probably for the best. You are a carb expert and you're diving into the world of boosted carbs now. Well, draw through, rather.

Stick with what you know. Make it work. It'll put the FiTech stuff to shame.

At this point, all I can say about swapping EFI into an older car is you better be willing to go through the steep learning curve and put up with the limitations you'll encounter, as there will be many.

I know what I'm talking about. Having gone through the EFI learning curve myself and discovering I didn't enjoy the process, but having gotten great success with hogged out boost prepped Nikkis, similar to your success, I'd say keep a window open for carbs. EFI isn't the final answer. It's just a way for OEMs to meet ever increasing stricter emissions standards. Plus you lose the natural intercooling effect of the venturi when you go boosted EFI.

Throw an FB top on your 76 Nikki and try blow through some day.

I actually theorize that the 1974 top with the extruded float bowl vent tubes might be better, as a lot of the purpose built blow through carbs I have them in the way of the oncoming air charge.

Purely theory, as I have never tried it. I do have one of those tops, but never got around to blowthrough.

This should be awesome and I'm very curious to see what comes of this. A TBI option would be awesome for those who are terrified of wiring but want an EFI setup in their cars.

Well, it's been literally months without word from them at this point. I have seen the product, and it's great. I would have loved to get some time with one of these installed on a rotary, but their customer service seems to be lacking.

I even offered to buy one out of my own pocket, and could not secure a delivery date.

Welcome to the forum.

I think at this point you would need to purchase one. Lots of caveats, though, as it is not just a bolt on solution when it comes to the rotary engine. Read the whole thread that j_tso linked in the post immediately previous to yours.

For videos, upload it to YouTube and then insert a link in your forum post here. You only have 2 posts total at this point so you might not be enabled for posting links yet (?).
