to be honest...I like lambo doors, and putting them on his 7 maybe the closet he ever comes to a lambo.

Matter afact, after I do a TII swap, suspension, redo all of my interior, exterior, and other various things, I may make custom lambo doors, but there is no way in hell I would pay 2g's or even 1g...(of course it would be the last thing that I would do, if you ride clean and have a broke *** car...well your a busta).

PS: I like the 90's :-P

First of all, welcome to the forum... As you can see, this type of modification is not necessarily popular with this group.

The first gen RX-7 is a great car and lots of fun to modify and drive.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do to your car. Have fun with it.

I still think proper gullwing doors (hinged in middle of roof, like DeLorean and Mercedes) might look good - but the structural mods to fab it up properly (torsion bar door spring, roof and pillar support, door bolsters, etc) would run about $10,000

They're caled scissor doors for a reason.

God makes them fall down and chop ricers in half when they get stuck in their street roll cage trying to get into their "whip"

ok i accually put thought in to the suicide doors and went and looked at it. I dont think it will work because of how the window is on a first gen how it sticks out a little bit more than the bottom

Those are actually a lambo/ford gt40 door.

See how the top portion of the hood goes along with the door? That innovation was made so that le mans racers could litterally jump in the car faster.

If I could find those I would probably get them. They aren't ricer lambos, but they aren't really a Ford GT either.

I think its just the tomato red paint that makes it look tacky, too.

I'm surprised that no one has brought up the fact that too many FD's have been ruined by the "lambo" door mod.
