I Need More Power Scottie!!!

Ok, this is about as stupid of a noob question as they come... but what do I need to make more n/a power on my 12a? Already have full exhaust from headers to exhaust tips and a mikuni carb. I plan on having the 12a ported and install a better clutch and flywheel setup. along with replace dist cp and button and wires, coils and the other weak ignition parts. so is there anything else that can be done to a 12a without huge amounts of $$$...? Ive drawn a blank. thanks guys

After exhaust, intake, ignition, then it's porting and/or induction. If you're not concerned about top end, shorter gears.

what kind of power would i see by removing my clutch fan and replacing it with single, maybe duel electric fans? im guessing it puts some unneeded strain on the engine, gotta help some?

there has been a bit of a war on this some say that you wont gain much of anything bc even though you are take off rotating mass, you are still adding more strain on the alt. which causes less horse power. and some say that you gain a few extra horse power but dont take off the clutch fan unless it needs it bc it does a great job of cooling, which it does, i use to drive my 1st 7 down to ft lauderdale from gainesville fl all the time in the summer in a 100+ temp outside, but anyways if you get a good enough fan and you hook it up through a relay which is that hard you should put that much strain on the alt. if you do this make sure you a get a good enough fan, ei: mr2 dual fan set up, ford taurus setup, or you can get a 16" single fan like i did from ebay that pulls 2600 cfm make your own shroud and bolt it to your radiator. whatever you do make sure it cools the engine properly or you will regret it!
