pull the plugs and make sure they're clean and dry. you can crank it with the plugs out to get some excess fuel out of the engine. remember, you are still pumping new fuel into the engine. reinstall the plugs and crank it again. use the choke if you have to. as a last resort, try some ether. if that doesnt work, make sure you are getting good consistant spark. if you are, then you may have other issues, perhaps in the compression sense. try that. post back

If it is flooded then you have lost compression in your rotors and must build the compression back before it will start. Remove the plugs. Pull the fuse for the fuel pump. Crank engine for a couple of seconds to blow out excessive fuel. Squirt a little oil (20w50) into each rotor housing rotating the engine by hand and putting a little oil into each face of the rotors. Re-install the plugs and wires. Re-insert the fuel pump fuse. Start it up. The oil should build enough compression to get it going again. I will smoke like crazy for a little while untill the oil burns out of your exhaust. After it starts take it out and run it hard for a bit to get the oil burned off. You may need to remove your plugs after this to clean them as the oil will foul them a bit. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

instead of pulling the fuse for the fuel pump pull of the trailing connection on the ignitor, with this disengaged the fuel pump is also disengaged. BE VERY CAREFUL when you do this although it sounds stupid make sure your plugs wires are FAR AWAY from the plug holes or else you will have about a 20 foot flame coming out of your engine bay... Believe me its funny until it happens to you...

Does anyone know what would make a car keep flooding, I had it started and running using the oil trick and cleaning the plugs. It ran like a champ. After the car sat for 24 hours I went to start it again, it started after about 5 seconds, ran, I pushed the choke in shortly after it started. I went up to pop the hood and it chugged and died. After that It wouldn't start again. Flooded. Im getting really sick of it flooding, I talked to my uncle he knows about boingers but not rotaries and he said its most likely my floats or the fuel linkage unit on the carb dumping in too much fuel. Any ideas why it would keep flooding. Also I think my spark was kinda weak.
