I need a guage cluster

Anyone got an extra guage cluster i could buy? Everything needs to be working, and i'd prefer to have one w/ around 125-130k miles on it.

SERIES 3 1984-1985 only.

I posted here cause there are none in the for sale section and more ppl look here.

Thanks

That's what I meant?

Don't worry though

I will pass by my friends shop tomorrow he has a few.

I don't know how much he will sell them for though. If i where to sell this one I'd let it go for $20+ shipping.

Have you tried your local junk yards?

my engine temperature guage is busted, it sticks wherever you move it to. i think it may be from when i put in the guage faces, i broke part of the circuit board on teh back. I soldered allt he connections together again, however later when installing the cluster again i think i remember jamming the guage on accident. So now it sticks and doesnt guage anything!!!

and you kinda need it w/ a turbo engine.

Try bending the end of the needle up so it doesn't bind with the new guauge faces. I had that problem too. Might work if you didn't try it. What gauges did you put in the S/R Motorsports gauges?

Or try moving the base of the needle up off the gauge a little bit. Oh and I broke a piece off mine when i was taking it out. Didn't hurt it though. for some reason.

Wally how much do you want for it, and do al the guages work, and whats the mileage?

Red13brx7, ya i was thinkin of doin that, but i'm not sure that its being stuck on the faces or not... yes they are the SRmotorsport guages.

yea, I am pretty sure they get stuck real easy. I had to play with mine almost all night when I put them in so they wouldn't get stuck. Just kinda play around with them, until you get it figured out. But if its not getting stuck, you might have done something to the gauge, from breaking off part of the back. Good luck.

on the rpm needle, don't worry about it being "stuck" at 3krpm. I had mine reading 2k too low (zero was well below zero, redlined at 5k with buzzer etc.). Took the needle off and put it back on in the proper orientation... works just fine now.

Might I suggest that you could just get an aftermarket temp guage. Auto stores have tons of them availible.

Yeah, but where to put it, i dont have enough guages for a tri guage thing, and i dont really want an a-pillar, and i hate having duplicate guages, so i want to make the one i have work, either that or replace it. i dono if that makes sense or not, but i've just got it set in my head that this is what i want, hehe

I bought a new cluster the other week for my 1980, coz the old one tripped out when it passed 80kpm, and sat on max from then until you stopped. It was a **** to figure out how to put it in coz I didn't have any idea. I had half the dash off before I realised there was only a couple of screws in the surround I paid $110 Australian for one whose fuel guage didn't work and when I got it in it turned out the tacho and the fuel guage didn't work, so I had to save the one's from my old cluster and transplant. It took me all day to do the one simple job. Works good now though, and is backlit blue so that is sweet. Good luck with yours, but try not to be a total *** like me and have a look before getting in there with your screwdriver
