I have both, but the 1st gen is far more fun to play in.

fd's are so beatiful, first I got an 85 12a and later on I got a 88 turbo II, I had to do a semi-restoration on both as they were sitting for 6 years. the 1st gen was very fun, fun to work on, play with, and definantly to drive, race, and drift. but i lost my license in the 85 anyways I got the 88 right before I lost my license and it is nice, and in better condition and much, much faster, just as fun to drive, race, and drift but not necesarily to work on, but its getting there. I like the feeling of a non-turbo and i'd love to put an s5 n/a engine in an fb that is fuel injected. you'll like the fc just hold onto the fb while you work on the fc so that you dont miss the 1st gen.

Eh, I got rid of the FCs within a month of getting them. They just didn't feel the same.

I gave my FC to a friend(87 base, my first car)... kept the FB for myself...

but, to be honest, I would roll the FB off a cliff for a clean FD...

thankfully however, such an ultimatum will most likley never occur and in a few years i'll be able to afford a FD so I can have a 1st gen and 3rd gen
