That looks awesome. I've been hoping to be able to acheive a similar look with my '79 once I get to work on it. What did you do to get the Rewinds to fit? Is that all part of the suspension and rear end swaps?

Would have loved to see this thing through on the bridgeport.
A 1998 CBR900RR carb set mates to the 4 intakes!

I am extremely, and I mean extremely, impressed with your work. You can put most any of us to shame, myself in particular. Where have you been hiding?

If you could do a write up with pics on both the flares and rearend install, you will be a hero to many.

Keep up the great work and start posting more. We need more stuff like this instead of the thrice weekly noob questions, i.e. turbo, body kit and hp.

trochoid's right, stick around and post a few step by steps if you have the inclination.

Chris, just a little ribbing for you racers, and I agree it is nice clean work and well done. Just please don't chop up the good ones that are left!

That is the least of my concerns. If the BroncoII rear wheel bearings can't handle the new loads then I'll eat my words. Having -2.3 deg camber up front moves the center of pressure inwards more than it would be with zero camber, therefore the overhung load is not as severe as it looks.

If I have to replace front wheel bearings every 10,000 miles I should get ~3yrs between changes. I'm prepared to change them every year if required. Whats more likely to happen is that the engine blows up during racing. Then again I say whatever, buy a replacement and change it. Things like wheel bearings take 1 evening to replace. This is a race car.

You have made a good point for people that might wish to do something similar and daily drive the car and aren't willing to change them more frequently.

Chris

That car is just plain hot. I hope my SA looks half as good when it's done next year. My flares aren't nearly as extreme, but then again my wheels dont' stick out as much either.

Those fender flares definitely look good. I personally wouldn't use them because I am all about stock appearance, but man if I were going to do any semi major body mods I would be down for that.
