I love FB's

Everytime my passion starts to dwindle, I take a look at the pics I have of FB's on my computer and the fire is rekindled. I need to "finish" mine up this spring. Just really needs a little body work and paint, and I'm going to get a different set of rims and I think I might be able to leave it alone, aside for maintanace. I'm going to go ahead and replace all of the wheel bearings as I'm not sure of the age on those, and put a stronger clutch in her.

Hi, my name is Charles and I love FB's

My name is Matt and I'm an FB-oholic...

These cars look great, are a ball to drive, and fun to work on too.

I have always loved the look of the FB, and there are times when I still can't beleve I am lucky enough to own one of my own.

When I first got my 1st gen, I used to stare at it for the longest of times, admiring its lines

Amazing that 20 years later the car still looks agressively sporty.

DITTO. And, I'm doing now. Completing my wide body work w/ a few touches: targa band & whale tail. Every time I hear that RB ported 13B rev I get chills.
Same w/ my 240Z w/ Chevy 350 V8. Damn, that high performance **** gets my blood pumping. God, I'm easy: A wicked grin creeps over my face... aps over me....YEAH!!!

My dad owned what is now my car since 1989. ...I was born in '88...

I literally grew up with my car. It got more and more performance parts as I grew taller and older. I've been a rotarhead all my life, and I don't plan to stop any time soon.

I think it was really cemented in me that I love my car when I first drove it at 9. That was it; I was hooked.

You know, it's simply amazing how no matter how similar our cars look, we
can't pass up looking at the pictures of other's RX-7s that look almost identical
to ours. Honestly, I don't think other automobile enthusiasts can say that.

When i saw my RX-7 the first time in a car lot, i told the guys that were in the car
with me, "Look at that car, i cant believe it's from the early 80's, the style looks
modern"

They should have used the RX-7 for the movie "Back to the future"

Myc1972 (Buddy)

ps: I have also thought, what a shame that i can't take it with me when i die.
They should feature us in the Speed Channel tv show "Car Crazy!"

Okay, JUUUUST because today is the 1-year anniversary of my being a rotary owner, I'll bite.
My name is Jeff. Another FB-addict. I've been lurking/posting here almost 2 yrs now. I have an '83 gsl that I love. My last car was a CR-X, also a very good car. Anyone who says otherwise is bash-happy. I wish the $3000 I spent on "repairs" for my FB could have been put into "mods", but I love the car anyways. The car is simple, beautiful, functional, and it kicks ***. Do I miss my CR-X? Not much. That is my testament to the FB.

My name's Evan, and I'm an FB-aholic. I lost one of the best girlfriends of my life because of the car, a couple FB's have pulled "Christine-like" maneuvers on me and I almost died, and I've had SIX now... I'm picking up lucky number 7 this weekend... and I can't wait.

My name is Dave. I'm a Toppless-bar-aholic. But one day I decided to quit going and spend the money more constructively. So I bought myself an '85 gsl...and a subscription to "Playboy". I love the car extreamly (as well as Miss October!), even though I think I'll end up eventually spending more $$ than I would have at the "strip joints"!! Ahhh, I can hear Diamond, Sugar, Fantasia, and Mercedes crying at all the money they won't get being poured into my car...which would be a major chick-magnet, if empty wallets weren't such a chick-repellant!!!!
