ok.. after getting the car back at the resprayers..

now its doing it again..and worse than ever..

its like ******* jammed now.. i cant turn the throttle lever manually by hand at all unless i force it to get unstuck..

please help

My guess is, you probably didn't adjust the pedal and cable properly and bent the throttle shaft.

tried fixing it.. undone the bolts.. sprayed wd40 in here



put it back like it was.. wont turn at all.. unless i put a gorillas strength into moving the lever and it gives.. but after i start her.. and it gets hot.. it ******* gets stiff again and gets stuck..

plus i think i ******* lose thread the bolt that holds the lever in place.. i gotta get a new one now

If you still have it, check your choke stuff too. I'm not too sure how it works on the RX-7, I haven't had to fix anything yet.

I know the choke seems to hold the pedal down and automatically releases itself when the engine heats up. You may have something jibbered up with those cables, linkages, etc.

Well you obviously fucked something up.

Try loosening the nuts on both sides of the shaft and seeing if it turns then.

Before you go dorking with the carb (too late probably), check the pedal. Any hinges or linkages should be clean and lubed.
