I had a 1996 Honda Accord previously, but a woman turned in front of me and well it got wrecked. Pretty badly. They totaled it, gave me a nice offer (more than I paid for the car) and compensation for my injuries (I was fine, still am, got checked too). A friend of mine works at a local repair shop and he said they had this "GCE-SL or something" in storage there. He was asking around $2000. I went up there and looked at it, and I was sold. It took awhile, I first looked at it around the 15th of December and finally got to drive it last week. He seemed very reluctant to sell it, asking if I had a garage to keep it in and how much I would drive it. We told him we'd buy it that day, he kept saying sleep on it, think about it, etc. We finally bought it Wednesday, though.

Also a quick question about the rear window sprayer: mine came off yesterday when I washed it (very cold! not fun!), what do i do? It won't just go back on.

Yeah I took it up to the shop about an hour ago and it should be getting fixed today, if there is a problem. I put it into the garage and it didn't leak. When I saw leaks, I was on an incline so it may have been from the skid pad below the radiator? I'm not sure, I just want to drive

lol! Glad you like her man. First order to business should be the following...

K&N box filter
Transmission fluid change
Rear diff fluid change... if you have someone do it make sure they put LSD additive in it!
Pre-mix with 2cyc oil to keep that engine health

Not a have too but if something happens to your oil unit it really will save your engine. Mine was removed completely so I have to always premix. You can get a gallon jug at walmart for about 8 bucks. A full tank takes about a 1quart (32 onces) pour in 2onces for every gallon. Pour it into the gas tank before you fill up so it can mix well. Happy times!

I ordered NGK's and a cap and rotor, the K&N will probably be my next thinger to do. I will probably have my local shop do the fluid changes because I have nowhere to do it right now since it's freezing out. Any particular fluids for the differential and the transmission? Also this car has stock foglamps. What bulbs do they use?

Low Impedance-I have been extremely careful. I want to keep this car clean and original-looking. I even avoid driving near salt when possible. But it's at the garage, safe and sound.
