The way much of the government works today, special interest groups call the shots. We (most of America) have gotten so used to paying taxes that we don't even think about doing it. Sure we fill out the forms and make sure we have the money in on time but have you ever stopped to think about whether you have gotten what you've paid for? The people are consumers, the politicians are the retailers, and the government is the manufacturer. For example if you don't like the fact that just over 1/3 of total government spending consists of taking your tax money and redistributing it to someone else then vote for someone who will do something about it. If neither the Demican nor Republicrat candidate offers you what you want vote them out in the primaries or vote for a third party candidate.

And are you really free if you refrain from saying something that you believe in because it may offend somebody or some group which will call you a bigot or worse while they advocate diversity of thought. Diversity of what thought, their thought only? I thought democracy was supposed to be inclusion of ALL thoughts and ideas Mr. Gore (if any of you heard his speech last week you may pick up why I mentioned his name but it has to do with his call to silence certain voices in order to "preserve our democracy")

We always hear Howard Dean talking about "getting THEIR power back". Its time that we the people take back the power that our constitution entitles us to.

Funny you mention the "third party candidate". Every democrate and republican know, in at least a presidential election, that the third party is a good thing for swaying some votes away from the other canidate. However, there is almost no chance a independant will get a majority vote, so basically, the object is to use that to an advantage these days. Al Gore, and the first Bush Sr. on his reelection bid both had to deal with Nader and Ross Periot. Both lost votes to independants, both lost the election.

But the point of this thread is about neighbors with short tempers or excessively overboard on taking action on fellow neighbors.

Small Claims Court. THEY will have to hire an Attorney but you will not so it will cost them. The Judge will also work with you to present your case.

Just remember, you signed the paper "under duress"

when your good and ready.. and its a nice summer day or night.. grab a bunch of bolone the good kind.. and toss them onto her car

then check your city laws for something along the lines of predatory ticketing or predatory towing rules and regulations.

If shes still on your "****" do it 3 times in a row and record it. Show the tape to someone important and bam you have yourself a very good case. Then you'll be able to get her fired and your neibor really really pissed that she has to paint her car.

ps not sure if the bonone thing works.

(yes, i saw the date the thread was first posted)

Just pouring sugar down the filler isn't gonna do anything. It won't make to the tank because there's a valve where the tank and the tube meets to keep that **** out. Worst thing that'll happen is that when she goes to fill up she'll see the sugar and just take to a shop to have the filler tube cleaned out.

Drill a few holes in her car's exhaust, or better still remove the damn thing. Then when she starts her car up call the police and complain about the noise. Also have some really loud thing going in the background while your calling them to sound more convincing, a video with a ww2 plane motoring along.
