i dont get my car

hey guy iwrote this before but i'm so clueless right now i have a week to get this car running anyways what the car is doing is not staring i tried putting a little gas in the carb it would run but if i stop the gas car would die help i really want this car thanks for reading it all

look in the archives for the carb rebuild article written by sterling, also there is a link to the factory service manual for the carb.

First try to change the fuel filter.

Next check the fuel pump.

finally rebuild the carb

What what you decribe its not getting gas.

What you can do is pull off the lines to the carb there should be two. The larger one is the Main feed. Pull it off and then crank the engine If gas is not coming out then you have a fuel delivery problem. If gas shoots out then you have a carb problem.

If Fuel is your problem, check your filter and fuel pump.

If Carb is your problem Start reading up on a rebuild.
