I was bored today and decided to dyno my 85

The car is basically my beater and workcar why I am working on my FD.

Its a 85 S with 150k miles on the orginal motor, it has crush bent 2.25 magnaflow exhaust with one precat left on it and Mallory ignition box, not even setup for directfire. Everything else is stock.

After playing with the timing for a while, 91.5 RWHP and 81 RWTQ.

Not too bad I guess.

You got me beat. For the heck of it, I g-teched my daily driver 85 GSL one day and got something like 82hp. I think I could've squeezed a bit more out of it though. All stock except for a bonez cat and RP exhaust with 136k miles.

Funny, on my first run I got a 70hp reading, but I didn't push it at all. I'm thinking, what the hell have I been driving? An effin' lawnmower?
