Unhappy I blew a rotor

I took the 79 out today it hasnt been run for a month, it was running good for about 15 mins then i was downshifting and i lost power, and i had no power starting up or going, the whole 5 mins home i was going 25 and it was smoking like a fog machine, the loss of power makes me think its a rotor, is there anyway to tell, well i have been debating a rebuilt or buy a new motor well heres the chance, ill keep you posted on the 82 im buying for parts and motor, and things that might sell on it. hope to get her running during spring
