Try Adam Heyman at RX7 Specialties in Calgary, Alberta, Canada at 1- 403- 246-6980. They get the best deals on new from Japan rotor housings and can build your engine to order, be it stock, street-ported or otherwise. Their prices are very reasonable. In fact, RX7 Specialties supplies engines for shops in the states, who then mark them up and install them for their own customers. This way you can cut out the middle man.

Business hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday Mountain time. (ie: two hours after Eastern time and one hour before Pacific time).

ok, if i were you this is what id would do....

1. pull the motor, strip it down, (if you're not comfortable taking out a rotary, please continue to the footnote *** below)
2. Send the motor off to Atkins rotary, full rebuild
3. If you're looking for some more power, don't skimp, please streetport....
4. Hopefully by now you have streetported, so now send your carb off to sterling/pb&j to have your carb overhauled, you're gonna need it!
5. after you have everything in and running, sell it to me for $250, cause ill buy it
6. I know you wont sell it after all this, so enjoy the killer setup, and thank me later

*** sell the car, buy a gay *** honda, and be laughed at by the rotary community for the rest of your life.....

Just sent Adam my check for the engine. Talked a bit about things, cannot wait til it gets here. Thanks for the tip! His prices were WAY below everyone else's, and the engine is mostly new parts. The housing is completely new and he is going to street port it. -Scott
I told him I would send some video from Iraq when I was flying on the Chinook as a door gunner.

Probably gonna want to send the carb out to Sterling if you're going with a Streetport. Like McNanny said, you're gonna need it!

Are you able/willing to disclose the purchase price for those of us keeping track?

Adam is an honest and fair guy. He is gonna be doing the s/c on my SE. A streetport is a must for any rebuild. Leave the rest stock if need be, but at least when you do add a header or intake you'll really get the bang for your buck. Remember, you can only port when it's apart, you can do the bolt-ons anytime.
