i am an idiot... please help identify wire!?!
hi again...
in my rewire... i have an extra..
it is green with yellow stripe.
it is in the loom with the starter switch(to the starter)
guessing it a ground for something?(green for ground, right?)
can't figure where it goes.
please see pic attached.
thanks in advance!
K.
Isn't that one of the connectors that goes to the Neutral Switch on the trans? One GY (Green-Yellow) and one Y-B (Yellow-Blue).
Connector B-30 Page 50 B-1 in the 1985 RX-7 Wiring Diagram.

neutral switch or check connector (if paired with a light green w/ yellow stripe)
Mazda changed wire colors many times but:
Black/yellow stripe= power
black/white stripe= power
blue/yellow stripe= power (later models, I think)
pretty much everything else is ground... essentially (with regard to small wires for switching)
