hummm, wtf, hummmm

Today on my way home I was just cruising, went up a slight hill, and then my car died for a second, then I started to pump the accelerator and it came back to life. I thought maybe my standard fuel pump had gone so I switched on my holley pump and it seemed fine. Then as I approached home I put the standard one back on and it was working fine. Could of it been a bit of carbon being spit out of the motor?

Cheers, Heb.

I had a Pick Up Truck that would do that from time to time.

My guess is the fule supply emptied out in the carb, and as you pumped the gas it sent more fuel into the carb and every thing went back to normal.

But that is just a guess

Good luck
