How will this tire setup work out.

Well i would really like to get BBS RX wheels when i get the 5x114.3 bolt pattern. The only thing though is that i can't seem to find them in just 15x7 ... but i was thinking if I do 15x6.5 upfront and then 15x7.5 in the back, will it result in a slightly understeer feel then normal?

yes...this is the case with nearly all cars. if you run a wider tire in the back, you'll understeer more than if you ran the same width all the way around. This however can slightly be corrected by the use of camber plates, and or tire choices front and rear...

alright thanks, i thought i remember reading that somewhere ... so i thought I'd just make sure, also how would camber plates affect that? I understand the different tires( grippier tires upfront , with less grip in the back, but with the extra material in the back it would result in about the same grip all around)

I used to run 195/50 front and 205/50 rear. Didn't seem detrimental to handling in any noticable way (I do have adjustable strut tops though) never really had any understeer problems

Adding heavier sway bars will help too. I have the ST bars and the rear one is adjustable for more or less oversteer.

Most FBs suffer from terminal oversteer. That being the case, some extra rubber in the rear would help even out the handling. I'm running 205/50-15F and 225/50-15R. I haven't driven the car yet with this setup, but it's directionally correct.
