The process was covered for EFI engines, which IMO are probably more difficult than a sidedraft.

It was said that its easy to spray though the leading plug hole, as well as that it would probably make it down the intake. Keep in mind your spraying a decent amount into the intake, I doubt that any sizeable percentage is gonna stick to the intake.

IMO, get everything running the best you can before pouring chemicals into your engine. While it may seem easy to just spray **** into your engine...If it has the power to clean off carbon it cant be the most soft seal friendly stuff. Keep in mind its probably designed for piston engines, which use mostly steel on steel to create the seal.

Go through all possible more common steps to make your engine run better before you go dumping cleaner into it.

350 engine locked up

I have a 350 engine that locked up after sitting with out oil but had oil when parked.. it does not run thinking pistons are locked up. I bought a can of amsoil to spray in the spark plug holes so do I just try to hand crank till the engine moves or should I go another route and use the power foam at a later date? Any ideas are helpful!!

Spray some Kroil in the spark plug holes. If that doesn't loosen it nothing on this earth will. I can't believe Kroil is still such a secret to most people. Probably because it is expensive and hard to find. It is the most fantastic penetrating oil product I have ever come across. It makes PB Blaster seem like water. There is literally NOTHING i haven't been able to break loose with Kroil.

i've been treating my new to me 80 10ae with power foam but the effort has not been fruitful so far. front rotor is showing like 145 psi on the boinger guage, rear rotor like 15-30. all faces on either rotor's reading. cranking over, lots of smoke from front and it gets warm; rear, nothing. I probably need to run the pump or hook up my holley blue slated for my 83 , and do a "transfusion" through some filters and run more clean gas along with it. new bur8eq's are on the way too. gave it my 83's new coils and fresh cap/rotor for good measure. same ole response. wishing it would at least start and run to get warm and let the powerfoam do better work. uncertain if it's a bad carbon problem or a serious hard parts matter at hand. trying to NOT do a teardown yet...

Too late, you need to rip that engine apart. 145 is really high; sure its acurite. But from the other things you wrote; yeah engine rebuild time.

I really don't understand seafoaming a rotary engine. There aren't valves to get carbon stuck in them or elaborate intake passage ways. Its just a strait shot down into the engine. Get the motor running and burn the carbon out; should you have carbon stuck in the seals. IDK just my opinion.
