Exclamation How to turn on headlamp washers

How do I turn the headlamp washers on in my 85 GS? Is there supposed to be a switch? There's nothing in my manual about it. Thanks for all help.

85rx7gs: In my 83's manual it indicates that the headlight up/down swich does it. Kinda like the rear wiper switch how you push it for the washer jet. Apparently you push the headlight up/down switch and hold it for the washer to come on. I'd assume your car is the same but finding that switch will be really tough, headlight washer jets are ultra rare (I think)

I have an 84 with the jets and a tank, it's an IMSA model so not sure if that has anything to do with it.

The jets were only available on Canadian and Japanese models. My 'headlights-up' switch is only one way, in for up and out for down. I'm thinking that there is a special switch that I will need to find. By the way, I also have the washer reservoir for them - WHOA! It's huge! Bigger than the windsheild one!

Also, did the louvers that came are available for this car have hinges on the top? Is there any way to fabricate some because I don't have any at the top - just holes.

Thanks treceb, that would be great if you could get pictures. Anyone else have pics of louvers or headlamp jets?

The best part about the headlight washers is you can turn the squirters around and spray people with water as they're walking past.

Squirting headlights is a waste, but that's actually useful!

Thats a pretty interesting idea, but I think I'll stick to the stock application. Anyone have any pics of the switch for an 85?
