How to turbo prep a carb

Anyone know of any links or can tell me them selves on how to turbo prep the stock nikki carb on my 79 rx-7. I heard its not that hard. I also heard you have to make the secondaries mechanical. Is this a pain?? Please let me know.
Thanks,
Old Tex

Making Secondaries Mechanical is covered in the Archive. You should look there.

For turbo prepping, I don't know.

its not hard, if you have some mechanical skills, you shouldnt have a problem..
the end result is you will have a nikki that will boost, but will have poor fuel ecconomy, hard starting in cold climates and hard bogging when the secondaries open..
