how tight do i....

tighten the 4 main bolts holding the carb down???? just snug them up or ballz out tighten them till i cant go any more....

Don't need to bear down too hard, but they should'nt be loose, either.

Check in a few days, and then again in a few days after that, as the gaskets compress.

well mr.sterling i think it matters not anymore for putting those gaskets on did nothing for that vaccum leak. MAKES NO SENSE! should i just try to get a new baseplate?

ok i loosened them all the way then "snugged" them. it helped a little bit, but not all the way. hmmmmm GETTING THERE!
