How to tell if an exhaust is GSL-SE safe

I found this racing beat SP exhaust. Its for a 13b but I don't know if its for a 4-port or 6-port. Is there anyway to tell by seeing it if it would work on a GSL-SE by just bolting on?

Also, would it be possible to modify it to work on a 6-port by adding something?

Thanks,

Picture attached.

If it's for a 13b, no matter 4 port or 6 port, it will work. I took my RB exhaust off of a 6 port and put it on my 4 port.

The only 13b it won't work on is the Renesis.

Well, I know it will work, as in, bolting on, but I need to know if it will open the 5th/6th ports. Also, do the FI systems in the GSL-SE require some sort of O2 sensor in the exhaust pipe?

Sorry, I'm stupid.

From presilencers back - it's not RB. Back on the subject, you will need to weld a bung for the o2 sensor and a pressure tube to activate the ports.

So where would I be able to get that kind of thing done? Would a muffler shop be able to do it? Would I have to buy parts anywhere?

Also, can anyone identify the muffler in the picture?

Thanks a bunch for the help so far.

Any muffler shop can put the o2 sensor in and the pressure tube (the tube that goes to your cat). See below for reference. I have no idea what muffler that is.

that looks looks like the RB duals but just not before the muffler. RB would have the flange, that one does not.

It definately looks like the RB setup just that part.

I have a buddy with that same setup and its not loud at all has a BEAUTIFIL Rotary engine rasp to it.

If anything I would rate the loudness of it mild even when your open it up full throttle.

btw, where did you get it?

Mazdatrix supposedly has a GSL-SE specific header with the tube for the 5/6 ports in it.

I didn't get it yet, I'm thinking about buying it. I don't see why it would be loud with two presilencers, but as long as its not "pull-me-over" loud, I think it should be alright.

So would I just bring it to a muffler shop and get it modifyed with the O2 senor and pressure tube? I mean, would I just ask them for a O2 senor and pressure tube, or would I need to bring them specific parts?

Anywho, I'd like to get this whole exhaust done as cheap as possible because according to mazda, the compression is bad (But it runs great, so mazda may be pulling my leg)

Thanks.

Well, I won the exhaust, 239 for the whole thing.

I'm still going to have to deal with the O2 sensor and 5th/6th ports. If anyone knows if a muffler shop could take care of this, or if they know what the best way to go about doing this is, it'd be great to know.

That muffler is not RB. Its not the right dimentions to be. If you look at the racing beat muffler, the tips are closer to the bottom of the muffler. Not centered like on the one you show. The tips are also bigger than the RB ones. It almost looks like it could be a magnaflow or something like that. Here is the RB GSL-SE streetport exhaust.

I know its just RB, just wonding what is it because its going on my car soon!

I really just need to know the easiest way to get a 4-port carburated 13b exhaust on a 6-port FI 13b.

If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be great!

The muffler shop can do the o2 easily. You also need to tell them to extend the air tube (the one that goes to the cat), drill a hole in the exh and connect it.
