my car was doing similar a few days ago, and it turns out the leading ignitor was shitting the bed. I had 100-200 rpm idle, and if I gave it gas it'd rev but shake really bad, and sounded like total crap. I swapped ignitors and it runs fine, so I put an ignitor salvaged from the junkyard in place of the bad one.

i just got my car back from the shop, they put a new ingniter in for me and fixed some relay some where. i didnt notice till i got home that the car was idling really low when i would come to a stop, it would be idling so low it sounds like its almost at the point of stalling , but if i give it a little bit of gas just sitting at a light and get the rpm up to around 700 it idles smooth. im thinking that the shop didnt adjust the idle properly after putting in the new parts, so im going to try and adjust it myself. All i have to do is adjust the idle speed screw????
