I have a power window 1984 GSL. Last week I rool down the window on the driver side and now it does not close. It goes half way and then stop. Looks like the glass is out of the rail. Any I deas how to solve that? I know that this is commun on first gen, but never happens before. Any help will be welcome.

Take the door panel off and check the front and rear tracks, and the lift mechinism. While it's open, lube it with white lithium grease. Clean the old lube out first.
