how to remove oil cooler...
on an 84 rx7 12a. the "beehive". i got my o-rings in today and i wouldlike to get them on there to stop this leak! AHHHHH! thanks,

three 10 mm nuts. Best bet is from underneath, but it's really a PITA with the engine still in.

Seriously, MIKE-P says he can do it in 10 minutes (I believe him, he's a helluva mechanic) you might PM him for tips, or take a drive to Kentucky.

lol; man i hate haynes manual. it says to just remove on nut. then after you get it off you have the 10mm ones. bah humbug! i'll give her a whirl tomorrow!

if your trying to remove the whole assembly then theres a 12mm bolt next to the clutch slave cyl that goes into the engine, and 2 10mm nuts you can get at from under the car that hold the cooler to the little flat plateau thing on the engine. Oh and a 23mm banjo bolt holding the line to the cooler will have to come off too, as well as the coolant hoses.
