HOw to remove the Dizzy?

pretty self explanatory i think, its just too early, and i want some clarification.

also, and where is the wire that goes to the starter (the 3rd one, not the 2 battery cables?

remove nut and all lines/wires. pull.

Line up the leading timing mark (the first one), pull the 10mm bolt holding the dizzy to the front cover, unplug the ignitors, and either remove the cap or pull the wires. Pull straight up.

Notice the dot on the gear, and the mark on the body of the dizzy. When you go to reinstall it, those need to be lined up, while the leading timing mark is lined up with the pointer.

That wire goes to the ignition from the solenoid. You can see it if you get under the car, near the starter.

The wire that goes to the starter solenoid is usually black with a yellow stripe for cars with manual transmissions, or black with a white stripe for automatic transmission equipped cars, and terminates in a plastic enclosed female spade lug.
